Paul McCartney was supposed to play two concerts in Horsens, Denmark, June 30 and July 1. But it was announced, two weeks before the concerts, that they were postponed. In reality they would not be rescheduled.
From paulmccartney.com, June 8, 2012:
Eight years ago today Paul performed the first of two gigs in Horsens, Denmark. The shows were part of his Summer Tour of 2004 which culminated in his headlining slot at Glastonbury.
Paul and his band are set to perform two more shows in Horsens in the coming weeks on the 30th of June and 1st of July.
From paulmccartney.com, June 14, 2012:
It has been decided to move Paul’s upcoming Danish shows to accommodate further tour dates due to demand. Given the scale of Paul’s production and his work on a fresh show it makes more sense to reschedule current one-off dates in line with the new shows yet to be announced.
Talking about this unavoidable change Paul said, ‘I regret the disappointment this will cause, I know people were looking forward to seeing the shows. We will make up for it.’
