Paul McCartney is awarded a Kennedy Center Honor
Dec 04, 2010
Interrupting what seems to be a rehearsal session, Paul McCartney sent a video message to his fan base, the day before the US election day, encouraging them to vote for Barack Obama.
Hey, hi there, this is a message to our North American fans mainly, as you know, tomorrow November the 6th is voting day and we would like to urge you to get out there and vote. This is very important. Three of the guys are American in the band and you know who they voted for? OBAMA. And this is who we think you should vote for. Tell your friends, get all your mates let’s get him back into office. Vote Obama, go do it, get back!

Barack Obama would be reelected for a second term. Paul McCartney had met with him in 2010 twice, to receive the Gershwin Award and a Kennedy Center Honor.
