“Band On The Run” inducted into Grammy Hall Of Fame

‘Band On The Run’, the 1973 album by Paul McCartney and Wings, is to be inducted into the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame at the 2013 ceremony taking place on 10th February.

Each year the recording academy inducts a selection of releases of historical significance. The recordings are reviewed annually by a committee comprised of professionals from all branches of the recording arts, with final approval by The Recording Academy’s National Board of Trustees. With 27 new titles being added at next year’s ceremony, the list currently totals 933 and is on display at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles.
