RTE star Ryan Tubridy was left speechless and gobsmacked following an incredible surprise from a Beatles star.
The presenter is a huge Beatles fan and has often said that Paul McCartney would be his dream interview.
The Let It Be legend recorded a video message for Ryan which they played for him live on the show.
Paul said: “Hey Ryan, Paul here. Hey listen, sorry to hear you’re leaving the show after 14 years – that’s a great achievement.
“Everyone is going to be very sad to see you go. But, wish you all the best in your new endeavours.
“And I also hear you have a big birthday coming up. So congratulations on that, have a great one.
“And I hear you’re learning to play the guitar, not a good idea. It’s not a good career move, I wouldn’t do it.
“However, happy birthday.”
Ryan was stunned and looked overjoyed after watching the clip.
He said: “That’s mad. Can we just take a break, I need some time. I just can’t handle it.” […]
