Paul McCartney kicked off his 2024 “Got Back” tour announcements on June 10, 2024, revealing a five-date leg across South America in October. A week later, he followed this up with a string of December shows in Europe.
On this day, he added two Mexican dates in early November to the itinerary, marking a return to the country after his November 2023 “Got Back” tour stop. Hours later, a new communication announced that Paul would headline the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City, on November 17. A few days later, a fourth date for a second show at Ciudad De México Estadio GNP Seguros was announced.
The shows at Foro Sol were a highlight of last year for me. What a magical time we all had. I can still hear your singing ringing in my ears! Mexican audiences are so special. We always have a massive party together. I’m really looking forward to getting back and to rocking n’ rolling with you all as well as my first ever visit to Monterrey!

PAUL ANNOUNCES GOT BACK TOUR 2024
Paul and the band will visit Monterrey and Mexico City this NovemberFriday 8th November – Estadio BBVA, Monterrey, MEXICO
Tuesday 12th November – Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, MEXICOPaul will bring back his acclaimed Got Back Tour to Mexico this November!
Due to the phenomenal success of the Got Back tour in Mexico last year, Paul McCartney will return for additional shows in Monterrey and Mexico City as part of his 2024 run of shows.
With songs like ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ‘Band on the Run’, ‘Let It Be’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show: hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music – dozens of songs from Paul’s solo, Wings and of course Beatles catalogues that have formed the soundtracks of our lives.
These dates will see McCartney return to Mexico after fantastic shows last year in Mexico City. He has performed in Mexico 11 times to date and this will mark his first visit to Monterrey.
Paul launched his Got Back tour in 2022, completing 16 huge shows across the US before performing what the British Times newspaper described as the “best gig ever” with his history-making set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023 Paul performed 18 shows as the Got Back tour rocked through Australia, Mexico and Brazil.

From Corona Capital Announces 2024 Lineup (stereogum.com), June 20, 2024:
The Corona Capital festival will return to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City this Nov. 15-17, and its lineup is pleasingly random. The big-font headliners for each day are as follows: Green Day, Toto, and Zedd on Friday; Shawn Mendes, Melanie Martinez, and New Order on Saturday; and Paul McCartney, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Empire Of The Sun on Sunday.
Historical footnotes like Empire Of The Sun have to feel good about getting the same poster treatment as Paul fucking McCartney, especially with so many noteworthy names in the undercard. Some of the standouts include Beck, Kim Gordon, Iggy Pop, the Mars Volta, Clairo, bar italia, St. Vincent, Primal Scream, Water From Your Eyes, Mannequin Pussy, American Football, TOPS, Tyla, Explosions In The Sky, Porter Robinson, Sprints, Twin Shadow, Wisp, BADBADNOTGOOD, Warpaint, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, feeble little horse, Blonde Redhead, Beach Fossils, Crumb, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Travis, Boy Harsher, and Jorja Smith.
