On this day, a new book about Paul McCartney’s band Wings, titled “Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run,” was published.
Edited by Ted Widmer, who also provides an introduction, the 528-page book was published by Penguin in the UK and W.W. Norton in the U.S. It featured over 100 black-and-white and color photographs, offering an in-depth look at Wings’ journey.
