From Pitchfork:
Global Citizen has shared the soundtrack to the One World: Together at Home broadcast, a livestreamed event in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. The 79-song album featuring live performances from the event is out now via Universal Music Group; all streaming revenue from the compilation will also be donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
The eight-hour special was carried on more than sixty networks and nine digital platforms around the world; in the United States, ABC, CBS, and NBC carried the broadcast, pressing their respective late-night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel into hosting duties. Lady Gaga served as creative director for the event, curating a lineup that included Gaga herself, Lizzo, Jennifer Lopez, Christine and the Queens, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, and many more.
