What is the track listing for the 2 CD Special Edition?

The PaulMcCartney Project • 6 years ago

Hi Raymond, The 2 first discs presented here !

Katie • 6 years ago

Hey, now that these Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway sets are out, what did you think of them? I listened to the 2-disc of RRS and just the album remaster of WL. I just wanted to know your thoughts on these sets.

The PaulMcCartney Project • 6 years ago

Hi Katie, I have yet to receive them !!! I'm sooo frustrated

Katie • 6 years ago

Aww :( I hope you receive them soon! I actually didn't get any of them physically. The two-disc of each album is available for streaming I believe. I listened to them on Google Music, but they might be on Spotify if you want to listen to them!

I became aware of the Paul McCartney and Wings B-sides back in the early 70's and was amazed at how good the songs were, sometimes challenging the album cuts of what became the new LP. So I collected the singles, even ordering overseas to get these 'Easter Eggs' they call them now. In 2000, I purchased much of his solo work on CD BECAUSE they added said B-sides as Bonus Material. I searched eBay and other sites and downloads for various releases 'exclusively' for this or that country. Probably spent no more than #300 all told to produce 5 CD's worth of rarely heard Paul McCartney and Wings material. That's why this record rerelease bothers me. Almost $200 for old hits and yes, some rare things I didn't even know existed. However, I remember listening to RRS in 2000 and not being too impressed with the single and Loop First Indian on the Moon. Now I'm retired and have to watch my &! Some of those folks I gave those CD's of rare stuff to have since passed on! At least it brought some happiness to them. You know, Sir Paul, your audience is going the way of the whole earth. You don't want your music to outlive your audience, do ya?

The PaulMcCartney Project • 5 years ago

Hi Bill, thanks for your thoughts - I see what you come from ; I've spent a lot of money buying those B-Sides over the years, as you know... and I've splurged to buy the RRS + Wild Life box sets. The price is high indeed, but let me share my experience - what you get is not only the music : I've really enjoyed reading the companion books - even more than listening to the outtakes !!!

Impossible to get to the redeem for Red Rose Speedway! What can i do?

The PaulMcCartney Project • 4 years ago

@jan Would contact the official Paul McCartney website. I downloaded them some weeks ago, and got no issue (even if the redeem page was not really responsive - had to try a couple of times)
