Dave. Lovelady, I knew as a student of architecture at (now) LJMUniversity
He approached me after a lecture, saying he was falling behind in his studies,as he was playing drums in a band. I asked which he enjoyed most, architecture or drumming . I replied that was it, he should leave architecture and concentrate on drumming. I remember the incident well
