“Twist and Shout “ sung by John Lennon ..it was hot in there and he kept turning his face towards a wall fan.

The audience went wild....it was by request “ Sing Twist and Shout” they shouted.

My understanding is that The Beatles played The Three Coins twice , the first being in November 1961

Hi Philip, The Beatles Bible (https://www.beatlesbible.com/1963/01/27/live-three-coins-club-manchester/) mentions this, indeed: "This was the second time The Beatles performed at this club at 64 Fountain Street, Manchester; the first was in November 1961."

However, there is no reference to this concert in Mark Lewisohn's "The Complete Beatles Chronicle". Neither in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_Beatles%27_live_performances So I'm not sure...
