(Sunday, April 11, 1965, afternoon BST) — The Beatles topped the bill this afternoon at the 1964-65 New Musical Express Annual Poll-Winners’ All-Star Concert at the Empire Pool in Wembley in London.

They performed five songs before 10,000 people: I Feel Fine, She’s A Woman, Baby’s In Black, Ticket To Ride and Long Tall Sally. The performance was broadcast on ABC’s Pollwinners’ Concert in Britain on Apr. 18, 1965.

Also on the bill: The Moody Blues, Freddie and the Dreamers, Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, The Seekers, Herman’s Hermits, The Ivy League, Sounds Incorporated, Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, The Rolling Stones, Cilla Black, Donovan, Them, The Searchers, Dusty Springfield, The Animals and The Kinks.

Printed by lauded English music magazine NME (New Musical Express) for their 1965 poll-winners concert, featuring the Beatles, the Animals, Tom Jones, the Kinks, Them, the Rolling Stones, Freddie and the Dreamers, and many more. The 5.75″ x 8.75″ twenty-page black and white program features photos and bios of all participating acts and an alphabetized lineup for the show, which took place on April 11, 1965 in Wembly, and marked the third appearance (of four total) by the Beatles at the annual NME poll-winners concert.
