From paulmccartney.com, February 9, 2006:
Last night Paul performed with Jay-Z and Linkin Park at the 48th Grammy Award show.
The legendary rapper and the hip-hop metallers performed a version of their previous collaboration ‘Numb/Encore’ before sliding into ‘Yesterday’ and introducing Paul to the stage who finished the remainder of the song accompanied by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda with Jay-Z contributing some ad-libbed lines. Paul also performed ‘Fine Line’ and ‘Helter Skelter’ as part of his own set. Paul joked, “This is the first time I’ve played the Grammys, I finally passed the audition.”
This was the 5th concert played at Staples Center.
