The promotional video for “Heart Of The Country“, a track from Paul and Linda McCartney’s 1971 album “RAM“, was filmed in June 1971 in Scotland. It is made up of two separate film sessions – one shows Paul and Linda walking along the beach and playing in the water, and the other shows them riding their horses in their Scottish farm.
A similar promo video was made at the same time for “3 Legs“, another song from “RAM“. The two promo videos were first broadcast on “Top Of The Pops” on June 24, 1971.
The promo video of “Heart Of The Country” was released on “The McCartney Years” DVD in 2007, and on “Ram – Archive Collection” in 2012.
