McCartney was in Yorkshire to record his theme tune to a new comedy series Thingumybob with the Black Dyke Mills Band.
The record became one of the first releases on the Beatles’ Apple label in August 1968.Recorded in Saltaire, Yorkshire, 30 June 1968.
