A film crew from the American CBS television flew over to Scotland and then drove through the wilderness to Paul McCartney’s farm to try and obtain an interview with him to debunk the rumours that he was dead.
Paul was not amused by this invasion of privacy and told them so, which was all caught on colour film. It is not known if this footage was ever broadcast but the raw footage has turned up in good quality and has been bootlegged.
Paul is heard saying:
