2:45 • Studio version • A • Cameron Crowe asked Paul to contribute a song for his upcoming movie. Paul intended "From A Lover To A Friend" but Crowe asked if Paul could write something new, with a kind of folk feeling. Paul agreed and wrote "Vanilla Sky" (that sounds much like "Biker Like An Icon"). The song was released 01-12-11 on Reprise in the U.S. and one month later in Europe.

2:48 • Live • Paul's soundtrack was one of the four nominees for the Academy Award. So he played it live for the "Oscar presentation" at the Kodak Theatre, Hollywood & Highland, Los Angeles. Paul on Spanish guitar and vocals, Rusty Anderson on acoustic guitar and Jim Walker on flute.
