This recording of Don't Pass Me By - Ringo's first song composition - is a variation of the White Album basic master, before the distinctive country fiddle part was added. It combines the instrumentation from Take 3 with a vocal that Ringo overdubbed the following day on to Take 5 (which was in itself a reduction mix or "bounce" of the third take).
