It's possible to have more information about this unreleased song? In which year presumably was it written?

Hi corchians,

Mmmh I wonder why there is this orphan song (I mean without any bootleg listed, at least). So maybe a song I had considered as some point, but which was not in the end ?

Sorry - I don't remember and need to do some research

thanks

Hi! If you want add the lyrics of this song, I wrote them for you:

"Well down in Memphis where mighty Mississippi flows

Yeah we’re sitting down in Memphis having a bow at the Liberty Bowl

‘Cos old Carl O’ Perkins came to see the Paul McCartney show

What do you say about it, son?

I say I’m here with Carl here in Memphis in his hometown

I’m here with Carl and I know that he don’t let me down

Well last time I saw him, he shot the roof down"

They recorded this tune before Paul's show on The New World Tour backstage at the Liberty Bowl on April 27, 1993. I saw the concert that night. Paul mentioned his 'other band' played a gig at the Mid South Coliseum.

Thanks Terry, I love this "other band" quote !
