I’m Ready” is track co-written and recorded by Fats Domino in 1959.

On January 21, 1969, during the Beatles’ “Get Back” sessions, Paul played a single line of “I’m Ready“. The Beatles returned to it the following day, playing it alongside a version of The Drifters’ “Save The Last Dance For Me.”

A medley of the two songs was selected by Glyn Johns for the second, third, and fourth iterations of the “Get Back” album, all of which were rejected by The Beatles. “I’m Ready” was mis-titled as “Rocker” on the track listing. This medley was eventually released on the 2021’s “Let It Be” 50th anniversary reissue.
