“Madman” is an unfinished track written by John Lennon and credited to John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It was recorded during the Beatles’ “Get Back” sessions on January 14 and January 21, 1969.
Between those two known recordings of the song, John moved the lyrics around and altered its arrangement. A similarity between this song and John’s “Mean Mr. Mustard” from the album “Abbey Road” has been noted.
