“Shazam!” is a song written by Duane Eddy and Lee Hazlewood and performed by Eddy. It reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 26 in Canada, and No. 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1960.
On January 23, 1969, during the Beatles’ “Get Back” sessions, John Lennon and Paul McCartney played a brief version of “Shazam!” The four Beatles played another version on January 25, 1969, and Paul and Ringo Starr revisited the track on January 28, 1969.
