“The Teacher Was A-lookin’” was an improvised piece performed by The Beatles on January 2, 1969, during the first day of the “Get Back” sessions.

They then break into a brief rock ‘n’ roll improvisation which we’ve called “The Teacher Was A-Lookin’.” This seems to have been inspired simply by the band’s need to tune their guitars. The performance features a pulsating bass guitar line with bass drum accompaniment and even has backing vocals for a few bars. George paraphrases a few lines from Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode” as a chorus.
